【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoverstheprocedurefordeterminingthevolumeresistivity,measuredlongitudinally,ofextrudedcrosslinkedandthermoplasticsemiconducting,conductorandinsulationshieldsforwireandcable.Whenevertwosetsofvaluesarepresented,indifferentunits,thevaluesinthefirstsetarethestandard,whilethoseinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecifichazardstatement,see.Incommonpracticetheconductorshieldisoftenreferredtoasthestrandshield.Technically,thistestmethodisthemeasurementofaresistancebetweentwoelectrodesonasinglesurfaceandmodifyingthatvalueusingdimensionsofthespecimengeometrytocalculatearesistivity.However,thegeometryofthespecimenissuchastosupporttheassumptionofacurrentpathprimarilythroughoutthevolumeofthematerialbetweentheelectrodes,thusjustifyingtheuseoftheterm"longitudinalvolumeresistivity."
