【摘要】:1.1Thispracticeisusedforroutinelycheckingthesensitivityofacousticemission(AE)sensors.Itisintendedtoprovideareliable,preciselyspecifiedwayofcomparingasetofsensors,ortellingwhetheranindividualsensor'ssensitivityhasdegradedduringitsservicelife,orboth.1.2Thispracticeisnota"calibration"nordoesitgivefrequencyresponseinformation.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Theacidityofachrometanningliquor,asdeterminedbythistestmethod,israrelyemployedassuch.Thisresultisnormallycombinedwiththeresultsofachromiumanalysis(seeTestMethodD3898)todetermineapropertyoftheliquorcalledbasicity.Thisproperty,equaltothepercentagebywhichanionsinanormalchromicsalthavebeenreplacedbyhydroxylinthesolutionbeinganalyzed,iscloselyrelatedtothetanningbehaviorofthesolution.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetitratableacidityofchromiumtanningliquors.Bytitratableacidityismeantnotonlyfreeacidity,whichisrarelypresent,butalsoanionscombinedwithweaklybasiccationssuchasChromium(III),whichcanbetitratedwithbaseatthephenolphthaleinendpoint.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
