【摘要】:ThispartofEN746givesthespecifichazardsandsafetyrequirementsforthemeltinganduseofmoltensaltthatshallbeprovidedbythemanufacturerforSaltBathIndustrialThermoprocessingEquipment,whetheritisusedasanindependentunitoranintegratedpartofaplant.Thelimitsoftheequipmentwillincludeanytransportationequipmentwhichislocatedwhollyorpartiallyinthebath.ThispartofEN746doesnotcoverthehandling,storage,transport,disposal,transferorregenerationofthesaltsandprocessedmaterialoutsidethelimitsoftheequipment.ThispartofEN746appliesnotonlytothenormaloperationoftheequipmentbutalsotothesafetyofpersonnelandpropertywhenforeseeablefaultsoccur.Examplesofsaltbathfurnaceset-upsareshowninFig.1,Fig.2,Fig.3andFig.4.NOTE:Therearemanyvariationsinthedesignofsaltbathequipment.Onlythreeexamplesofthevarioustypesaregiveninthistext.
